My background primarily in the fields of Logistics and Transportation, mostly on the Steamship/Container side. I have worked for the some of the largest Steamship lines in the world over the past 20 years. I also hold a Bachelors Degree in History and a Certificate in Secondary Education.
I love to cook, entertain, workout, spend time with family and friends. I love the beach and frequent Asbury Park all year long. The diverse group of people, the new and upcoming restaurants make it a great place to explore and meet new people.
I am very active in the Human Rights Campaign, I am also a member of the National Organization of Women, I am very active in AIDS charities as well as many other LGBT community groups.
I am from a large Italian family, and grew up in Nutley, with roots in Belleville and Newark. I have lived in quite a few towns in New Jersey, but I always seem to come back to the Nutley/Belleville area. I love the local shops and restaurants and the diverse communities that have grown over the past years.
I am a graduate of Jersey City State College. Where I was able to achieve my Bachelor's Degree. I went back to school later in life as my appreciation for the value of Education grew, due to raising my own child. Going back to school with a house a child and a job was not easy but very worth it.
