Hoboken Transit


Six of NJ Transit's lines terminate in Hoboken, giving you easy access to North and Central Jersey. This is supplemented with the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail which covers more local destinations. The PATH system takes you under the Hudson and into New York City, going as far as 33rd Street.


There's also the NY Waterway ferry which leaves from the Hoboken Terminal and 14th street and takes you to several Manhattan locations.

Hoboken Schools

Hoboken's public schools serve students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

In addition, Hoboken has three charter schools, two of which serve students kindergarten to 8th grade, and one that serves kindergarten to 12th grade.

Private schools in Hoboken include The Hudson School, All Saint's Episcopal Day School, Mustard Seed School and Stevens Cooperative School. Hoboken Catholic Academy, a K-8 school was one of eight private schools recognized in 2017 by the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program.
