Personal Interests

 I love water aerobics, belong to a book club and love to travel with my family.   I enjoyed watching my son run track in high school at Seton Hall Prep and as a boxer and captain at the University of Notre Dame.

My past experience as managing the relocation process for two major New Jersey corporations for 13 years has helped me to appreciate the concerns and stress on both my buyers and sellers.

My pledge to you is to make the selling or buying experience a smooth one by managing the whole process from our first converstion until your move in date and beyond.
I have been agent of the month numerous times in my office as well as agent of the year.  I am active in various community, school activities and church ministries.  I have been strongly involved with  "The Sunshine Kids", Prudential's, now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices charity, since 2005 through present, serving as the Chairperson for our company for many years.  "The Sunshine Kids" is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer.  Our company has been honored many times at the Prudential, now Berkshire Hathaway, convention for raising some of the highest monies in the country for the charity.  Monies are raised through various fundraisers such as our annual golf outing, swim-a-thon, haircut-a-thon (actually teens shaving their head for cancer), shredding events, gold selling events, restaurant fundraisers, Salsa dancing nights, a day at the racetrack, March Madness pools and selling our generic Sunshine Kids  greeting card to name a few events. Most agents donate a portion of their commission on each transaction as well and then the company matches that amount to a maximum of $5000 per year.  The last 10 years we have raised about $1,000,000 including about $135,000 in 2013 making us number 3 in the country for raising funds for the kids that year.  We are always in the top 10!! 

Professional Background

As I mentioned in my welcoming comments, I was the Relocation Manager for two major corporations relocating 150 engineers and other management personnel for 10 plus years and then for another firm for 3 years doing similar relocations as well as management hiring at both firms.  In these positions I both wrote the policy for our relocatees and managed their relocation including third party firm involvement when we took properties into inventory.  I also have managed many properties for people that are relocating out of the country and wanted to rent their home until they return.  I also managed the tuition reimbursement program for one corporation.

Buyers relocating to New Jersey especially the Essex, Morris and Somerset areas.  I have a vast relocation background dealing with two major corporations for over 13 years in the relocation field.  This coupled with being a full time realtor since 1999 gives me a good background in the real estate industry.

Community Involvement

 I am the on the board for a foundation based out of Verona called Minettes Angels.  We raise funds to help people in town that have breast cancer.  Minette was a good friend, a nurse, an advocate for breast exams and a spokesperson for the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Affiliate.  Minette was taken from us too early in her life but fought the good fight for 10 years. 

I have served for several years on our company committee for the Sunshine Kids which is a non-profit organization based out of Texas (serving as the Chairperson for many years).  We raise monies to send children affected with cancer on trips together, helping them feel like a regular kid and to be able to relate to each other on many levels.  We have raised anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 a year through various activities, I am proud to say!!  To date in the last 10 years totalling about $1,000,000....

I am active as an Eucharistic Minister at my church, Our Lady of the Lake, in Verona and was also at my sons schools in various volunteer activities, first at Our Lady of the Lake School for 11 years and then 4 years at Seton Hall Prep and continue to be involved with the Mother's association at Seton Hall Prep when I can.     

I have been involved many times on volunteer committees for the real estate commission as well.

Personal Background

I was born in Yonkers, NY and am one of four children to Bob & Molly Gray - Molly was from County Mayo, Ireland.  Dad is the son of a realtor/contractor and was from Yonkers, NY.   We moved from Yonkers when I was about 5 to Nanuet, NY and I went to St. Anthony's School in Nanuet and then onto Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia, NY.  I then attended The Berkeley School, now Berkeley College, in White Plains and received an Associate Degree and worked for a few companies such as Henningsen Foods in White Plains, NY; Costco Industries (not Costco you are thinking of) in Spring Valley, NY and then onto ITT Teleplant in Montvale, NJ.  I went from there to ITT Avionics in Nutley as the Relocation Manager doing relocation and hiring.  I decided to  go back to school at night and pursued my Batchelor of Science in Business Administration Personnel for 8 years at night - did it the hard way!! I worked for ITT for about 10 years.  When I received my degree I went to work at Timplex, an Unisys divison in Montvale, NJ as the Supervisor of Employment handling various personnel issues including hiring and relocation.  After three years at Timeplex and after getting married it was time to start a family so I stayed home and we had a son, my husband Jack and I, and I was happy to be able to stay home for 10 years to see him grow.  I started working at Prudential NJ Properties, now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, in January 2000 as a full time realtor and love what I  do....
