That simple sentiment embodies my goal as your agent. My job isn’t done until you are truly at home.
As a city kid, I never imagined living in a community as picturesque and friendly as Westfield. From the first time I drove through our beautiful downtown, I felt that sense of coming home. Over my 14 years here, I have come to love the various personalities of all our surrounding towns. We have so many wonderful, unique, close-knit communities in this area, populated by passionate residents and dedicated local small businesses. This truly is a region where people get to know each other, stop to chat, and help their neighbors. Let me show you around!
Every neighborhood has its own personality. Every main street has a best place to get a sandwich or bagel. Each school system offers a variety of programs and strengths. As a resident in the heart of this wonderful region, I can guide you through the ins and outs, helping you find the best possible fit for your family.
After an early career as an attorney in New York City and many years as a busy full time mom, my more recent experience is in property management. I helped busy people with all manner of maintenance and homeownership issues. Through that experience, I have built up a wonderful, dedicated network of local vendors and tradesmen who can repair, replace, service or renovate just about any part of a house. The knowledge of the nuts and bolts of a house that I bring from that experience gives me a unique perspective among real estate agents. I have developed a discriminating eye for what lurks in the basements and attics of a house. Absolutely nothing replaces the expertise of a license inspector, but the more you spot before that point, the easier the process becomes, for both buyer and seller.
I grew up as a city girl in New York, never imagining life in the suburbs. But I can’t imagine raising my own two children anywhere else. I have navigated the local schools both as a special needs mom and as a “typical” mom. As a special needs mom, I understand that not every family fits the same mold. Families come in all shapes and sizes. I know the programs and supports offered in the Westfield school system inside and out. Every family has their own story, and I am uniquely qualified to help special and alternative families find the right fit in our area.
My greatest joy is hitting the road. Whether it’s a simple day trip around the area with the kids, a day in the city, or flying off somewhere, I love to have plans in the works at all times. If you’re new to the area, a favorite family day trip for me is the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton Township, with a stop in Princeton to eat on the way back. Ocean City is our favorite spot down the shore. When it comes to family vacations, in my house, the kids and adults alike are all Disney junkies. To me, that is a vacation that only gets more fun as the kids get older.
